Our Member registration process to create an Account requires you to provide us with a username you create, your e-mail address, gender, date of birth, and a password of your choice. Certain information is provided to us to obtain use of the Services and become a Member. When you contribute information, connect with individuals in the culinary industry, participate in our surveys (either directly, or through third party service providers), receive incentives and discounts at: (including but not limited to), select boutiques, salons, restaurants, cooking classes, hotels, access our Culintro Career Center, access our Room Mate Finder, search our Membership Directory, participate in our Stage Program, or provide any other Content to the Services or the Site through other means, including but not limited to Culintro live events, we will collect all the information you provide.
When you contact us by sending us an e-mail or when you use any of our contact forms, we will collect any information that is contained in (and/or attached to) your e-mail, text message, or that you enter into such forms.
Personal Information Collected Via Technology
As you use the Services and/or the Site, certain information may also be collected passively, including your Internet protocol (“IP”) address and the browser that you use to visit the Site. Culintro also stores a small text file called a “Cookie” on your computer to store your login information (if any) and your personal preferences for the Services. Culintro may use both session Cookies (which expire once you close your web browser) and persistent Cookies (which stay on your computer until you delete them). While you will still be able to use some of the Services if you disable Cookies in your browser, certain parts of the Services may not function as effectively. After you register an Account on the Site and enable Cookies, we may associate this information with Personal Information that we have collected from you.
We also may use other standard Internet tools, such as web beacons, which collect information that tracks your use of Culintro and consequently enables us to customize our Services and advertisements. Web beacons are small graphics with a unique identity, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track online movements of web users or access to cookies. Web beacons, unlike cookies, are embedded invisibly on the web pages or in emails and may be used to deliver or communicate with cookies, to count Users who have visited certain pages and to understand usage patterns.
Personal Information from Other Sources
We may receive Personal Information about you from outside the Site, such as telephone, fax, and mail, collected at Culintro live events or from third parties that provide services for us that are related to the Services. We may add this information to the information we have already collected from you via our Services. We use information in the files we maintain about you, and the other information we obtain from your current and past activities on websites to resolve disputes, troubleshoot issues, and enforce the Culintro TOU. We reserve the right, from time to time, to review the data of multiple Users to identify problems or resolve disputes.
Use of Information We Collect
In general, information (including Personal Information) you submit to us, or to third parties that support us in collecting information, is used by us to provide you and other Users with the Services, respond to requests that you make to improve our Services, the Site, products, and to better tailor the features, performance and support of the Services. We may also use your Personal Information to provide you with notifications related to enhancing your use of the Services, such as electronic newsletters or promotional e-mails. You may opt out of any Services at any time via your Account Settings here. We may create anonymous information from Personal Information by excluding information (such as your name) that makes the information personally identifiable to you. One of the purposes of the Services is for Members to share what we consider to be relevant information with other Users. Therefore, you should assume that any information (including any Personal Information you may choose to provide, but excluding your registration information) that you post will be made available to other Members of the Services. We may provide you the ability to anonymously post certain comments or other Content, in which case we will not include your contact information (i.e., name, username, email address, phone number or postal address) on the Site in connection with such comments. However, you hereby acknowledge that Culintro’s internal records may associate your contact information with such comments.

We may provide your Personal Information to third party service providers and suppliers who work on behalf of or with us to provide you with some of the Services and features of the Services and to help us communicate with our Users. However, these service providers and suppliers do not have any independent right to use your Personal Information except to help us provide the Services.

When we delete Personal Information that we have collected from or about you, it will be deleted from our active databases but may remain in our archives. We use this financial information to bill you for our Services and products. We do not recommend that you disclose your Culintro password or login information to any third party. If you choose to share this information with a third party, you are responsible for all actions taken with your login information and password. If you lose control of your password, you may lose control over your Personal Information and may be subject to legally binding actions taken on your behalf. If your password has been compromised in any way, you should immediately contact us and change it immediately.
Culintro cooperates with law enforcement policies, as well as other third parties to enforce laws. We can disclose information and Personal Information about you to law enforcement and other government officials as we, in our sole discretion believe necessary or appropriate, in connection with any investigation of any alleged illegal activities you have been a part of.
