Disclaimer: Culintro, LLC is a duly formed limited liability company. Culintro, LLC is NOT a not-for-profit organization nor a tax exempt entity. Accordingly, membership dues and fees are not tax deductible. Culintro has created (the “Site”) and may now or hereafter provide any one or more of the following services, Culintro Stage Program, Culintro Spotlight Programming, Culintro Job Board, Culintro Room Mate Finder services, Browse Our Members, Culintro Student Career Builder Program, and any and all other services which may now and/or hereafter be found on the Culintro website, (the “Services”). Culintro LLC has created this privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”) which reflects the importance of the information you as Site users provide to us as part of our commitment to help our users better comprehend what information we collect about you and what we may do with your information. The Privacy Policy discloses our information gathering and dissemination for Culintro, LLC through the Site.

Culintro Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes Culintro, LLC’s, its subsidiaries’ and/or affiliates, (collectively “Culintro”) practices with respect to the collection, use and disclosure of personally identifiable information received from users of the Site that we collect when you as a Visitor or Member (collectively referred to herein as the “User” or “you” or “your”) use the Services. Culintro or sometimes referred to herein as “we”, “our” or “us”, takes the privacy and protection of personal information very seriously. By visiting the Site, registering as a Member, or using the Services, you acknowledge and accept the practices and policies outlined in this Privacy Policy. Unless otherwise defined herein, capitalized terms shall have the meanings assigned to such terms in the Culintro Terms of Use (“TOU”), which can be found at and which incorporate this Privacy Policy by reference. This Privacy Policy describes Culintro’s practices with respect to Personal Information as defined below.

Personal Information

“Personal Information” is information that is personally identifiable, including names, addresses, e-mail addresses, work addresses, phone numbers, facsimile numbers, as well as other non-public information that is associated with the foregoing. We collect and use Personal Information as described in this Privacy Policy from the Users of our Site.


Personal Information We Collect

We collect the following Personal Information that you voluntarily submit to us:

Our Member registration process to create an Account requires you to provide us with a username you create, your e-mail address, gender, date of birth, and a password of your choice. Certain information is provided to us to obtain use of the Services and become a Member. When you contribute information, connect with individuals in the culinary industry, participate in our surveys (either directly, or through third party service providers), receive incentives and discounts at: (including but not limited to), select boutiques, salons, restaurants, cooking classes, hotels, access our Culintro Career Center, access our Room Mate Finder, search our Membership Directory, participate in our Stage Program, or provide any other Content to the Services or the Site through other means, including but not limited to Culintro live events, we will collect all the information you provide.

When you contact us by sending us an e-mail or when you use any of our contact forms, we will collect any information that is contained in (and/or attached to) your e-mail, text message, or that you enter into such forms.

Personal Information Collected Via Technology

As you use the Services and/or the Site, certain information may also be collected passively, including your Internet protocol (“IP”) address and the browser that you use to visit the Site. Culintro also stores a small text file called a “Cookie” on your computer to store your login information (if any) and your personal preferences for the Services. Culintro may use both session Cookies (which expire once you close your web browser) and persistent Cookies (which stay on your computer until you delete them). While you will still be able to use some of the Services if you disable Cookies in your browser, certain parts of the Services may not function as effectively. After you register an Account on the Site and enable Cookies, we may associate this information with Personal Information that we have collected from you.

We also may use other standard Internet tools, such as web beacons, which collect information that tracks your use of Culintro and consequently enables us to customize our Services and advertisements. Web beacons are small graphics with a unique identity, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track online movements of web users or access to cookies. Web beacons, unlike cookies, are embedded invisibly on the web pages or in emails and may be used to deliver or communicate with cookies, to count Users who have visited certain pages and to understand usage patterns.

Personal Information from Other Sources

We may receive Personal Information about you from outside the Site, such as telephone, fax, and mail, collected at Culintro live events or from third parties that provide services for us that are related to the Services. We may add this information to the information we have already collected from you via our Services. We use information in the files we maintain about you, and the other information we obtain from your current and past activities on websites to resolve disputes, troubleshoot issues, and enforce the Culintro TOU. We reserve the right, from time to time, to review the data of multiple Users to identify problems or resolve disputes.

Use of Information We Collect

In general, information (including Personal Information) you submit to us, or to third parties that support us in collecting information, is used by us to provide you and other Users with the Services, respond to requests that you make to improve our Services, the Site, products, and to better tailor the features, performance and support of the Services. We may also use your Personal Information to provide you with notifications related to enhancing your use of the Services, such as electronic newsletters or promotional e-mails. You may opt out of any Services at any time via your Account Settings here. We may create anonymous information from Personal Information by excluding information (such as your name) that makes the information personally identifiable to you. We may use standard Internet tools, which collect information that tracks your use of our Site and enables us to customize our Services, and enforce our TOU. We may use this anonymous information for internal purposes, such as analyzing usage patterns so that we may enhance the Services, and we also reserve the right to use and disclose such anonymous information at our discretion.

Public Postings

One of the purposes of the Services is for Members to share what we consider to be relevant information with other Users. Therefore, you should assume that any information (including any Personal Information you may choose to provide, but excluding your registration information) that you post will be made available to other Members of the Services. We may provide you the ability to anonymously post certain comments or other Content, in which case we will not include your contact information (i.e., name, username, email address, phone number or postal address) on the Site in connection with such comments. However, you hereby acknowledge that Culintro’s internal records may associate your contact information with such comments.

Information Delivered to you

We may use your Personal Information to improve our marketing and promotional efforts, analyze web usage, improve our content and product offerings, and customize our Site’s content, layout and Services. Additionally, we may use some information to contact you and deliver information to you that in some cases is targeted to your interests, such as targeted banner advertisements, administrative notices, product offerings and communications relevant to your use of the Site. By accepting this Privacy Policy, you expressly agree to receive this information. If you do not wish to receive these communications, you may opt out of the receipt of certain communications.

Disclosure of Personal Information

Except as otherwise stated in this Privacy Policy, we do not disclose or share your Personal Information with third parties, unless you authorize us to do so.

We may provide your Personal Information to third party service providers and suppliers who work on behalf of or with us to provide you with some of the Services and features of the Services and to help us communicate with our Users. However, these service providers and suppliers do not have any independent right to use your Personal Information except to help us provide the Services.

Due to the context in which we operate, we cannot ensure, nor should you expect that all of your private communications and other Personal Information will never be disclosed in ways not otherwise described in this Privacy Policy. Although we use industry standard practices to protect privacy, we do not promise that your Personal Information or private communications will always remain private.

We may share some or all of your Personal Information with any parent company, subsidiaries, joint ventures, or other companies under a common control (collectively, “Affiliates”), in which case we will require our Affiliates to honor this Privacy Policy.

In the event Culintro goes through a business transition such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your Personal Information will likely be among the assets transferred. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer of Culintro or its assets may continue to use your Personal Information as set forth in and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

We have the right, and you authorize us to disclose information we have collected from and about you, including but not limited to Personal Information, if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to (a) comply with relevant laws or to respond to subpoenas or warrants served on us; (b) to enforce our Culintro TOU and Privacy Policy; or (c) to protect and defend the rights or property of us, the Users of our Services, or third parties.

Choices Regarding Personal Information

We will include unsubscribe instructions in each newsletter or promotional communication you receive from us. We may send you service-related announcements (such as, but not limited to, notice that you have won any of our sweepstakes, or that we have changed our Services or our TOU or Privacy Policy) when we believe it is necessary to do so. You may request that your Account be terminated and that your Personal Information be deleted. Any termination of your Account may involve deletion of your Account information from our live databases and all the information and data stored for such Account in the Services and/or on the Site. Culintro will not have any liability whatsoever to you for any termination of your Account or related deletion of your Personal Information.

When we delete Personal Information that we have collected from or about you, it will be deleted from our active databases but may remain in our archives. Regarding Personal Information, you may choose not to provide Personal Information, although this may result in your inability to obtain certain Services or use certain features of our Site, to decline or delete cookies, although some of the features or Services of our Site may not properly function.

Financial Information

Under some circumstances we may require certain additional information, including but not limited to your credit card billing information. We use this financial information to bill you for our Services and products. By making a purchase, or engaging in any other kind of activity or transaction that uses financial information on the Site, you consent to our providing of your financial information to our service providers and to such third parties as we determine necessary to support and process your transactions.


If you provide feedback about the Services to us, we may use and disclose such feedback for any purpose, provided we do not associate such feedback with your Personal Information. We will collect any information contained in such feedback and will treat the Personal Information in it in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Your Profile

Following registration, you can review and change the information you submitted during registration. If you change your password or email address we will retain a record of your old password and email address. You can also change your registration information such as name, address, city, zip code, essays and saved criteria. Upon your notification, we will remove your membership from our active databases as soon as reasonably possible in accordance with our TOU and Privacy Policy. We will, however, retain in our files information you have requested be removed from our active databases for certain purposes. Further, such prior information may never be completely removed from our database due to technical and legal constraints.

Your Password

You are responsible for all actions taken with your Account and your login information and password, including fees. We do not recommend that you disclose your Culintro password or login information to any third party. If you choose to share this information with a third party, you are responsible for all actions taken with your login information and password. If you lose control of your password, you may lose control over your Personal Information and may be subject to legally binding actions taken on your behalf. If your password has been compromised in any way, you should immediately contact us and change it immediately.

Legal Requests

Culintro cooperates with law enforcement policies, as well as other third parties to enforce laws. We can disclose information and Personal Information about you to law enforcement and other government officials as we, in our sole discretion believe necessary or appropriate, in connection with any investigation of any alleged illegal activities you have been a part of.

Links to Other Web Sites

The Services may contain links to other web sites that are not owned or controlled by Culintro. The provision of such links is for your convenience and does not signify our endorsement of such web sites or location or its contents. We have no control over, do not review and are not responsible for the privacy policies of or content displayed on such other web sites. Please be aware that the terms of our Privacy Policy do not apply to any outside web sites.

Ad Servers

We will allow advertisers to place advertisements on the Site. Clicking on such advertisements may direct you to the website of a third party. The third-party ad server may use Cookies or web beacons in connection with these advertisements. This Privacy Policy does not cover the collection of information by these third-party ad servers through the use of Cookies, web beacons, or other means. For information about our advertising partners, please visit their websites through the links included in the presentation of the advertisements.

Privacy of Minors

We do not intentionally collect or maintain information in the Services from those visitors and Users of the Services who are under 18 years old.

Security and ConfidentialityWe take appropriate physical, electronic, and other security measures to help safeguard personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. However, no company, including Culintro, can fully eliminate security risks associated with Personal Information.

Changes in This Privacy Statement

As part of the Culintro TOU, this Privacy Policy is subject to amendment, in accordance with the terms of the Culintro TOU.
