Ruumy's Tavern

Line Cooks wanted for the opening of an elegant yet casual tavern in the heart of the Theater District. Our cuisine will focus on seasonality, impeccably grilled food, fine wines, and craft beers in a fun and sophisticated setting. We want to highlight time and place by displaying the best that New York State has to offer on our vegetable driven small plates menu.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain first-hand experience of a restaurant opening, as well as exposure to the NYC restaurant industry. There will be unique opportunities for creative collaboration, and fast advancement.

Candidates must have experience working in a fine dining/high volume restaurant and possess a strong knowledge of food and beverage. The ideal candidate must work well in a fast paced enviroment, be detail-oriented, orginized, self motivated and maintain quality under pressure.

All candidates must be hard working, have a positive attitude, and be hospitality driven. Our philosophy is simple and effective: if you don’t enjoy cooking the food, guests will not enjoy eating the food!
