In addition, he has been named a Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur by the French government. Restaurant DANIEL has been cited as “one of the ten best restaurants in the world” by the International Herald Tribune, received Gourmet Magazine’s “Top Table” award and a coveted four star rating from The New York Times, as well as Wine Spectator’s “Grand Award”. The Chef has authored six books and created three seasons of the “After Hours with Daniel” television series.

Mini Bio:

Daniel Boulud is Chef-Owner of several award-winning restaurants and the Feast & Fêtes catering company. While he hails from Lyon, France, it is in New York that he has truly mastered the dining scene and is today considered one of America’s leading culinary authorities. Over the last two decades, Boulud has evolved from a chef to a chef-restaurateur, bringing his contemporary, seasonally inspired French cuisine to his five New York City restaurants: DANIEL, a Relais & Châteaux member; Café Boulud with its adjacent new Bar Pleiades; DB Bistro Moderne; Bar Boulud and most recently DBGB Kitchen and Bar. Beyond Manhattan he has created Café Boulud in Palm Beach and in summer 2010 will open a new DB Bistro Moderne in downtown Miami as a sister restaurant to the Manhattan venue. In 2008, the Chef extended his culinary reach internationally, opening Maison Boulud in the Legation Quarter in Beijing, China. Daniel Boulud and his restaurant management company, The Dinex Group, also manage Vancouver’s DB Bistro Moderne and the renowned Relais & Châteaux restaurant, Lumière.
